Sublimation is a chemical process where a solid turns into a gas without going through a liquid stage. Sublimation imprinting occurs when particles of dye rest on the surface of a printed transfer page, then, using heat and pressure, the ink gasses off the page to permanently dye the sub-surface of a polyester based product including apparel, plastics, films, coated metals and more. At this point, the image is imprinted into the coating of the item, or embedded in the fibers of apparel and can be considered permanent for the life of the product. With our sublimation services, you can take your company or organization’s favorite designs and apply them to a variety products. The choice is yours!
